Message From the Executive Director

This past year we celebrated 40 years of service to our local community and reaffirmed our commitment toward supporting and empowering the youth who need us most. Employment strains and distressed families have resulted in a significant increase for our core services. Despite these challenging times, we have positioned and prepared ourselves to assist our local youth and struggling families.

Our Board of Directors and entire organization is implementing a strategic plan that moves us toward increasing the impact to our youth. This will be accomplished by focusing on three critical areas which are increasing program quality, developing the capacity of our board, staff and volunteers and creating financial sustainability to keep pace with our local need concerning youth and families.

The success of the Boys & Girls Club is directly related to our dedicated professional staff, committed board of directors, financial supporters, consistent volunteers and community partners. Working with all, we can ensure that each young person has the opportunity to reach his or her full potential as a productive, caring citizen despite their circumstances.

We are very excited about 2011 and appreciate your support in providing a place where all youth feel safe and can look toward a great future.
