Dental & Health Screenings, Family Health Information & LOTS of FUN!
Services Provided
Community Screenings
Community screenings are available for families to attend. Preventative dental services such as sealants, x-rays and cleanings along with dental health education are helping close the gap in preventative services available to families.
Vision Services
The Boys & Girls Club Health Services vision program is part of a nation program Sight for Students. Students receive vision screenings along with vouchers issued to receive an eye exam and eyewear through participating local VSP (Vision Service Plan) eye care doctors.
Dental Services
Both preventative services and treatment are provided to students in need at no cost to the family. Preventative services may include x-rays, cleanings, dental sealants and flouride applications. Treatment may include fillings, crowns (caps) and extractions.
Education
The Club provides community education to families on healthy snacks and good dental health.
Crest Cavity Free Zone teaches youth healthy eating habits and proper brushing techniques to improve their oral health.
