“It Just Takes One” Campaign Update
This year the Board of Directors should be proud to report they have successfully raised $95,308 towards their campaign goal of $140,000. Last year at this time, the board had raised $96,623.
Grant Update
Jeld-Wen Foundation recently awarded the Club a $25,000 grant for the West Salem Capital Campaign. The Jeld-Wen Foundation will help make a difference as we expand our reach changing and saving the lives of thousands of Marion and Polk County children. After a very selective process, McKay High School students selected the Club as one of three recipients of the PGE – Community 101 Grant project. A grant of $1,000 for the Club’s Crest Cavity-Free Zone will allow the Club to offer the program at the Swegle and Eastwood branches to help combat tooth decay and provide dental prevention education.
